Of course, Baker Mayfield has become an early-season sensation in his own right. His remarkable combination of toughness and talent has turned heads all over the league. Famed for his barrel-chested terrier energy, Mayfield plays with a relentless fire, carrying his team on his back on every drive. In fact, he even earned the designation of QB10 across all of fantasy football’s formats. So far this season, he’s averaged 17-plus fantasy points in every game.
At the same time, Elic Ayomanor has gone about his business under the radar, developing a great connection with QB Cam Ward. That link was made clear during our recent visit to Nashville, when Ayomanor displayed some serious upside. He’s placed three red zone targets. His counting stats aren’t as prolific as Calderon’s, but his efficiency is remarkable, with a 10.9 FP/G, 59% catch rate, and 12.8 aDOT.
Beyond Ayomanor’sascenny SSRblockedtype, Ladd McConkey has turned into a sleeper pick this year. Turner’s performance has really flown under the radar, but I think there’s potential there for Turner to make some great contributions as the season goes on.
Calvin Ridley has faced challenges. With four drops already in 2025, he’s battling a worrisome 36% catch rate with an 11.3 aDOT. These statistics beg the question of his reliability and consistency, something that will become crucial as the season continues.
As the league looks ahead toward Week 4, Jonathan Taylor stands to be one of the bigger surprise talents available at his position. Depending on how much he plays, his return could dramatically change the trajectory of the league in general and many fantasy rosters specifically.
