Kyle Lowry, a six-time NBA All-Star, is no longer with the 76ers. He’s heading to Prime Video, where he’ll serve as an NBA analyst. Lowry is starting his 20th season in the league. This milestone represents a tremendous accomplishment in a remarkable career. This multiyear agreement will have him playing limited functions this year, with expectations for an expanded role in years ahead.
The 39-year-old guard has been a controversial lightning rod in professional basketball ever since he invaded the NBA back in 2006. His work along with resume has stole the heading accomplishment for his outstanding private titles. Beyond his philanthropy he has had an incredible impact on his teams, most notably the Toronto Raptors, that he won an NBA championship with in 2019. On top of that, he won an Olympic gold medal with USA Basketball at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
Lowry’s addition to Prime Video will definitely be a boost to their NBA coverage. This increase is particularly thrilling for those evenings when the 76ers are on the road. Once he checks in, Lowry will become the 12th player in NBA history to play at least 20 seasons. Taking his cue from Chris Paul, he’ll become only the second point guard ever to accomplish this amazing feat, inspiring players in the game today and fans for years to come.
