NBA 2K26 has announced its most awaited Old School program, led by basketball royalty Shaquille O’Neal and Swin Cash. This new addition to the popular MyTeam mode showcases the evolution of the game and pays tribute to basketball’s storied past. For fans of The Show franchise, the new program showcasing those players and talents is easily the biggest draw and most exciting addition to dive into.
Shaquille O’Neal, a new dominant force of his own, drives home that powerful point with his newest roster addition. He features a Diamond Pink creation that reflects the swagger of his heyday with the Orlando Magic. This one comes with a sick 96 OVR to begin with, honoring the basketball great O’Neal’s legendary status in the sport. Completing the cast is Kyrie Irving, the incandescent contrarian and star of James Harden’s latest destination club, the Dallas Mavericks. He currently has a sick 96 OVR PD card. These implementations are sure to create a more competitive gameplay experience for players trying to create their greatest teams.
In addition to O’Neal and Irving, the Old School program celebrates the achievements of women’s basketball by featuring Swin Cash. A three-time WNBA Champion and a two-time Olympic gold medal winner, Cash’s impressive accolades include being a FIBA Women’s World Champion and holding two NCAA Women’s Champions titles. She is one of only eleven players to accomplish such an astounding gather of titles. This latest achievement truly cements her legacy in the sport.
