Zimbabwe Sets Challenging Total in First T20 Against Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan batting order was rich with talent. Kusal Mendis had to step into the keeper role and Pathum Nissanka brought his batting magic along. Other big names like Kusal Perera, Nuwanidu Fernando, Dasun Shanaka etc skipped the event. Their abundant talent was insufficient as they faltered against a disciplined Zimbabwean bowling attack.

After early scares, plenty of drama as Zimbabwe finished their aggressive innings with a score of 161. This score created a daunting prospect in front of the Sri Lankan side. Whoever wins the match, the final outcome remains to be seen. Both sides will be looking to take an immediate leg up in the five-part series.
