She passed Ellyse Perry’s career total of 6,082 runs in women’s franchise leagues, now owning a remarkable total of 6,124 runs in the three major leagues around the globe.
Mooney’s match-winning innings against the Trent Rockets featured five fours and one six, providing a powerful boost to her side’s hopes of success. She formed a blistering second wicket partnership with Kathryn Bryce to hand the Manchester Originals a new highest tournament record – a magnificent 10-wicket thrashing of Birmingham Phoenix. This result represents the third-ever 10-wicket victory in The Hundred women’s tournament. It’s the first time the Originals have completed this all-around wondrous accomplishment since 2022.
