Nottingham Forest is the surprise leading team in this summer’s transfer market. They are still reaping the reward of their recent sale of Anthony Elanga to Newcastle for a whopping £55 million, further adding to their impressive war-chest. Of course, Nottingham Forest has rocked the league by signing Dan Ndoye from Bologna for £34 million. They brought in Igor Jesus from Botafogo for £10 million, continuing to bolster their squad ahead of an exciting new campaign.
Outside of these transfers, Nottingham Forest re-signed key midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, reigning in their midfield fortitude. The club are understood to be in advanced discussions over a potential £37.5 million deal with Ipswich for forward Omari Hutchinson.
