Seales proved the best West Indian bowler in a phenomenal spell of 7.2 over, claiming four wickets for just 15 runs. He only gave away 18 runs while taking the incredible six wickets, essentially ripping apart the Pakistani batting order. His remarkable performance included key dismissals, notably that of Naseem Shah, who he caught and bowled for 16 runs, and Saim Ayub, who fell for a duck after being caught by Shai Hope.
Continuing to support Seales’ efforts were fellow bowlers Romario Shepherd and Gudakesh Motie. Shepherd provided the crucial support with the ball for England with an economical 5.0 overs, going for only 10 runs. He managed to claim one wicket, putting the West Indies’ hold on the game even further. Motie finished with bowling figures of 7.0-0-37-1. He contributed with the ball, taking the West Indies to the strongest bowling attack.
Roston Chase was the star with ball in hand for the West Indies. He bowled 6.0 overs, conceded only 16 runs and took one wicket. The West Indies bowlers put on a stunning display. Pakistan fell apart and were bowled all out in 29.2 overs.
Pakistan’s low total of just 92 runs is a great indicator of the horrible day their batting lineup had. They failed to develop alliances and fell victim to the heat applied by the West Indies pace attack. The loss represents a big victory for the West Indies, as they take the ODI series to a close.
