The 2025 men’s and women’s Hundred competitions, already well underway, promise to be thrilling spectacles featuring many of the brightest stars of cricket. And through all of this competition, we’ve seen some really remarkable performances by players—which is something we’d expect, especially in run-scoring and wicket-taking.
Jonny Bairstow of the Welsh Fire is at the top of the men’s competition with a blistering 128 runs. Simply put, he has really rooted himself into the proverbial fabric. Just behind him is Manchester Originals’ Phil Salt, who has scored 101 runs. Will Jacks of the Oval Invincibles is the leading scorer with 85 runs. In second place is Tom Banton of the Trent Rockets, just 80 runs behind. Completing the top four highest scorers, David Warner of London Spirit scored 79 runs.
Bairstow tops the field with 1066 runs. He has the best strike rate of all his teammates above 175.3, indicative of his attacking approach and batting flair. An overall dominance of Jacks is confident and powerful with the strike rate of 170. Zak Crawley of the Northern Superchargers has the highest strike rate, with 164.3. That only emphasizes his jaw-dropping ability to score at breakneck speed.
Meg Lanning of Oval Invincibles tops the women’s side with an awesome 141 runs. Her tremendous technical ability and performance quality has resulted in dominant displays in each match. London Spirit’s Grace Harris isn’t far off that mark with 107 runs helping her team in key situations. Northern Superchargers’ Davina Perrin has helped her team’s score by increasing the tally by 93 runs. Danni Wyatt-Hodge of Southern Brave has led her team with scoring 91 runs. Trent Rockets’ Nat Sciver-Brunt completes the quartet of top performers with a blistering 79 runs.
Rashid Khan of the Oval Invincibles has been the breakout star of the tournament with his bowling. Maybe that’s why he’s taken a remarkable six wickets so far! His scintillating run of form has been key to his country’s mesmerising tournament run so far.
Week three of the tournament begins and the battle for the number one seed is heating up with only a few weeks left in the competition. Fans eagerly await further developments as players strive to improve their statistics and contribute to their teams’ successes.
