This past week, LA Clippers guard James Harden unveiled one such incredible outdoor basketball court in Guangzhou, China. This awesome milestone was reached during his most recent UNO Tour, presented by Adidas. Even with the horrible weather, the reveal continued and surprised one and all. Harden and those hundreds of fans who showed up to support him were completely shocked. The court is named for him and features a stunning mural of Harden himself. It’s an introduction to the 2025 UNO Tour imagery, which includes the slogan “Under No One,” an homage to his jersey number.
As officials pulled back the tarp to reveal the court, Harden appeared momentarily puzzled, likely taken aback by the grandeur of the installation. Despite the awful weather, fans filled the Tennessee Dome and Harden let it be known that he appreciates their constant support.
“Thank you guys. I know it’s rain, you guys here supporting me, I love you so much,” – James Harden
Legendary artist and designer Eric YIN$z0f recently unveiled the court’s design. It features bright, energetic graphics that speak to Harden’s colorful personality and love of the game. This visit comes on the backdrop of his broader tours in China that have taken place annually since 2019. Oh yeah, he’s just launched his signature Adidas shoes.
Besides the court reveal, over three thousand fans stormed a mall in Guangzhou City. They were just waiting for an opportunity to run into Harden. He paused to personalize his autograph on his signature Adidas sneakers and jerseys, adding to the growing bond he was establishing with fans.
Most notably, Harden recently pulled off a monumental feat by re-signing with the LA Clippers. He followed that up by signing a two-year, $81.5 million contract in late June. During the 2024-25 NBA season, he averaged an impressive 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game, earning All-NBA third-team honors.
The celebration proved to be a capstone to Harden’s tumultuous recent years in the league. Most recently, it focused the spotlight on his 2022 trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to Los Angeles Clippers in 2023. Up until his trade, he kept national attention. He had the courage to take on the 76ers’ president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.
During the historic event, Harden recalled the overwhelming energy from his excited fans—many first-time voters.
“You guys never cease to amaze me, every time feels like the first time … I just hope you know the love is reciprocated,” – James Harden
