Prime Video has announced an expansion of its NBA coverage for the upcoming season, introducing a talented lineup of play-by-play announcers, analysts, and sideline reporters. Other noteworthy additions were play-by-play voices Michael Grady and Eric Collins, in addition to analysts Brent Barry and Dell Curry. Allie Clifton and Kristina Pink will replace Tonae Allen as sideline reporters, bringing fans closer to the action to create an authentic and immersive viewing experience for basketball fans.
He’s been the television voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves since 2012. His intelligence and energy play in every game. Eric Collins has been the voice of Charlotte Hornets games next to Dell Curry since 2015. Now, he’s making the leap to the Prime Video team! The inclusion of these talented and experienced broadcasters should only help to enhance the overall quality of the network’s NBA coverage.
It’s a return to broadcasting for Brent Barry, who stepped away from the airwaves for five years. He previously worked for the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns. His expertise, combined with Dell Curry’s extensive playing background in the NBA, promises to offer fans insightful analysis throughout the season.
Allie Clifton became an on-air personality for the Los Angeles Lakers broadcasts in 2018. Prior to that, she was sideline reporter for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2012-2018 and now she’s set to take all of that experience and apply it to the Lakers’ sideline. Kristina Pink has established herself as a go-to name through her sideline reporting work for the LA Clippers. Her work brings a new depth of understanding to Prime Video’s already extensive coverage.
Production head for Prime Video, Jared Stacy, recently stated his excitement about the impressive lineup. His touches with respect to experience were to Democrat Caucus fiat.
“You see that with a lot of the people we announced today there are familiar voices, but we’ve got front office experience, coaching experience and Hall of Fame playing experience on this roster. I think it’s a really good, well-rounded group of people who are excited to build something from the ground up.” – Jared Stacy
Stacy came back to the long game strategy behind Prime Video’s continued presence. She told me—they’re moving far beyond just one game of the week.
“We’re not in a situation where we have like a single game of the week.” – Jared Stacy
This announcement comes on the heels of Kevin Harlan and Stan Van Gundy announcing their new roles with TNT. Their involvement took place during the last NBA game on May 31st. Cassidy Hubbarth was another member of the crew, who roamed the sidelines as a reporter for ESPN, but hosted popular digital series such as Hoop Streams.
We hope you’re excited, because Prime Video will be fully stocked with NBA games next season! Fans should expect an energetic telecast that mixes established voices with new talent. Familiar faces and new contenders meet on this fascinating lineup. This approach is meant to draw in a wider audience and keep them engaged all the way through with entertaining and educational content.
