This action cements their leadership further as the team prepares for next week’s start of the NFL regular season. It is hard to understate their success during this time, especially in the last few years.
The traditional general manager Jason Licht is about to enter his 12th season with the Buccaneers, which makes him the NFL’s fifth-longest-tenured such GM. Kevin Payne His strategic, bold moves over his tenure have created a dynamic, competitive roster. During his tenure, the Buccaneers have experienced unprecedented success. They lead the league in total snaps and starts over that time period by homegrown players drafted in Rounds 1-5.
Todd Bowles can’t wait to start his fourth season as head coach. He comes to this role with a track record of 27 wins and 24 losses. His leadership has led the Buccaneers to three straight NFC South championships from 2022-2024. This colossal accomplishment further illustrates his hands-on effectiveness at the focus. The extensions were praised by team ownership. Joel Glazer stated, “Jason and Todd’s leadership has been critical to our organization’s success. The winning culture they have established has us well positioned for the future.”
“I am very grateful to the Glazer Family for the trust and belief they have shown in what we are doing here.”
Todd Bowles echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing his excitement about continuing to work alongside Licht. “I am excited to continue working with Jason for years to come as we build on the success we’ve enjoyed and keep reaching for even bigger and better goals.”
