Ibrahim’s century was an important personal landmark too, only the second time he had reached three figures in his brief first-class career. As the match approached it’s end, Ibrahim stood firm alongside his center back partner Jack Carson. Both teams would reconcile to a tie in the end. Their alliance proved vital in preventing Sussex from falling to defeat. Ibrahim proved his exceptional creativity throughout the competition. His exceptional game-winning display was instrumental for his overall progression and for helping Sussex earn a valuable point.
