Day three kingpin Ollie Pope picked up where the previous day’s play left off, notching a brilliant 169 off 163 balls to put England back in control. His innings was a feat of extraordinary accuracy, as his 24 boundaries included two big sixes. Pope’s strike rate of 103.68 highlighted his aggressive style and ability to rotate the strike effectively, contributing significantly to England’s overall run tally.
