He appeared as a character named E-Tone in the latest season of the popular series “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” Jackson’s character, a forceful menace from New Jersey, illustrated Jackson’s talents far beyond the football field.
Jackson’s new acting career would begin following an All-Pro 2024 NFL season. He passed for 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdowns in his MVP season with the Ravens! His move into show business has been a hot topic for the last year, both among his rabid fan base and the media industry.
In December 2023, Jackson expressed his desire to join “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” stating, “Raising Kanan so gas. I wanna be in a few episodes.” He proved he’s got a passion for acting with a fun cameo in comedian Druski’s hit series, “Coulda Been Records.” In this lighthearted competition series, rising musical talents face off for a life-changing reward. This cameo occurred just hours before his official debut in “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.”
When Jackson guest hosted on “Coulda Been Records,” Jackson played the part of the pre-audition judge. From issuing the golden ticket that let contestants advance to the major audition, he was thoroughly involved. This role put him in a special spot to see emerging artists perform for the first time.
Perhaps the best moment happened when one contestant spotted Jackson, yelling, “Ain’t you the quarterback, you the Ravens quarterback man. The anticipation reached a fever pitch as the contestant bent down into a four-point stance, a nod to Jackson’s legendary athletic career on the gridiron.
