Draymond Green Responds to Tari Eason’s Troll After Warriors’ Game 7 Victory

Draymond Green showcased his skills during a pivotal Game 7, scoring 16 points, securing six rebounds, and providing five assists in the Golden State Warriors’ 103-89 victory over the Houston Rockets. Though a milestone for the team, this win pushed the Warriors past Memphis into the Western Conference finals.

On May 5, 2025, following his impressive performance, Green addressed a recent troll from Rockets forward Tari Eason through a tweet that simply stated, “spoiled milk.” Together with thousands of supporters, this testimony directly answered Eason’s earlier buffoonery on social media. He shared a video to his Instagram story, yelling, “Warriors come out to play!” This phrase is one of many that would harken back to a historic first round series from April 2024. At some point during that game, Eason wore a t-shirt emblazoned with the same phrase.

Green and Eason’s budding rivalry flared up again during Game 4 of their first-round series. The two players soon got tied up on the court, increasing the animosity towards one another. The dust-up resulted in Green catching a flagrant foul and Eason being assessed a technical foul. All the drama aside, the Warriors prevailed against the Rockets that night, with that punchy little squirt Steph Curry leading the Warriors to victory.

Klay Thompson, the perennial All-Star for the Warriors, was just as disgusted with Eason’s actions. He remarked, “That’s pretty lame, especially if you’re not even playing.” Thompson noted the need to support one’s rhetoric with action on the basketball court. He elaborated on that, saying it’s one thing when you’re playing and competing out there. During that time, you’ll have an opportunity to show what you can do. You’re going to be the one trolling from the sideline? What are you doing? Every time we shoot the shit, we shootin’ and every time we cut up, we get busy. That’s all I have to say on that.

The Warriors looking ahead to their thrilling matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals. They are in a very good position to secure the No. 10 seed, at the very worst. The Rockets’ recent winning streak has closed the gap between the two sides as they continue to fight for playoff seeding.
