Wide receiver Xavier Restrepo to the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. He developed a solid five-year track record with the Miami Hurricanes before this alluring opportunity. Restrepo is listed at 5-foot-10 and 198 pounds. He departs Miami as the all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, cementing his legacy at the university.
In three seasons at UM, Restrepo hauled in 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns. He set the school record for most 100-yard games. This notable accomplishment further exemplifies his long-standing efforts as a model performer between the ropes. Ward, who transferred from FCS powerhouse Incarnate Word last offseason, became the favorite target of the Titans’ No. However, their unmatched on-field chemistry would serve both players and their professional partnership very well.
Even with all of his accomplishments, Restrepo has a tough uphill battle to find a place on the Titans’ roster. The team has made huge, recent improvements to its wide receiver corps. With their fourth round picks, they chose Chimere Dike (Formerly known as Dekevion) and Elic Ayomanor. To make a lasting impression on the Titans’ coaching staff, Restrepo will depend heavily on his established rapport with Ward.
