Professional golfer Wesley Bryan has been suspended by the PGA Tour following his participation in “The Duels: Miami,” a LIV Golf event held at Doral. The latter was just discussed at an event he hosted with a $250,000 purse. The whole event was broadcast live on Grant Horvat’s YouTube channel.
Bryan, who has played three events in 2025, last competed as recently as March. These days, he’s practicing ahead of the Corales Puntacana Championship in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where he won’t be teeing it up. Just a year ago, he was runner-up in this same event, falling to Billy Horschel. For Bryan, the suspension is a pivotal time in her career. Over the decades, earned great success and fortune.
The golfer is no stranger to influencer events, having been featured in two previous PGA Tour influencer events over the past year. In addition to that, he runs a pretty successful YouTube channel with his brother George. Combined, they produce some of the best trick-shot golfing content out there. Bryan reflected on the power of their YouTube content, saying,

Career-wise, Bryan has only missed 66 cuts in 134 PGA Tour events. He has earned five top-five finishes and nine top-10 finishes in the process. He won his first and only PGA Tour event at the RBC Heritage in 2017 – in his native South Carolina. Even with these successes, he finds himself in a troubling position at 169th in the FedExCup standings with just 31 points. In official earnings alone, he’s already made $75,068.
The suspension from the PGA Tour leaves Bryan in a precarious position with his future in professional golf now up in the air. He shared his disappointment about this defeat, saying,

Against these odds, his relentless resolve has produced an impressive $5,247,630 in overall prize money, a testament to extraordinary commitment and unwavering perseverance. He’s now wading through the difficult waters post-suspension.
