Ace Bailey, the highly touted one-and-done freshman from Rutgers University, today told reporters that he plans to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. Projected as the 3rd overall pick, the 6-foot-10 forward has plenty of potential. As he takes this crucial step in his professional career, he’ll sign with Omar Cooper of Lifestyle Sports Agency.
Bailey put together a historic collegiate campaign. His play was instrumental in getting him named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and as a third-team All-Big Ten performer. He further proved his scoring prowess by averaging 17.6 points a game. On top of that, he added 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. His unique blend of size and skill has put him in the crosshairs of NBA Scouts and Talent Evaluators far and wide.
Now, Bailey is in Atlanta, training and getting himself ready for the start of the predraft process. His youth is what makes him different. He won’t turn 19 until August, making him one of the youngest prospects in this draft class. He plays with an insatiable, rabid, psycho killer aggressiveness and Michael Jordan intensity on defense. His exemplary scoring prowess has been instrumental to the young star’s success.
