Christian Elliss, linebacker Continuing the family’s famous NFL legacy. He is currently doing his professional career with the New England Patriots. It was obvious that the Patriots didn’t want Elliss going anywhere, as they moved quickly to retain him, matching the Las Vegas Raiders’ offer sheet on March 19. After that, he has proved himself to be one of the most valuable players on the field.
Elliss took the league by storm during his first game back from injury. He is the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kaden Elliss and Denver Broncos 2024 third-round draft pick Jonah Elliss. Last season, he earned five starts and recorded a career-high 72 tackles. Further, he logged 1.5 sacks, defended five passes and came up with an interception. So far in his NFL career, Elliss has appeared in 39 games. He rattled off six consecutive starts, proving to be an indispensable force and fierce competitor on the pitch.

They knew that signing him to an offer sheet wouldn’t have the downside of losing draft-pick compensation. This acquisition by the Patriots speaks to the club’s determination to keep the best players on their roster.
The Las Vegas Raiders showed interest in Elliss, hosting him for a visit on March 17 before extending a two-year offer sheet. The Patriots the next day came in with an offer to match. This decision demonstrates that they intend to retain Elliss as a central figure in their defensive operation.
