Lane Johnson, the accomplished offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, has successfully negotiated a reworked contract that adds significant financial benefits over the next two years. According to his agent, Ken Sarnoff, who disclosed the details to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Johnson will earn an impressive $48 million, with $40 million guaranteed. This new agreement includes an additional year valued at $25 million, extending his contract through the 2027 season.
Johnson's performance on the field has been nothing short of exceptional. He has been named to six Pro Bowls, with selections in each of the past three seasons. His accolades do not stop there; he has twice been named first-team All-Pro and has earned four All-Pro selections overall. This accomplishment places him among elite company, joining Bob Brown and Jason Peters as the only tackles in Eagles history to achieve such recognition.
Last season, Johnson demonstrated his prowess by finishing in a tie for fourth among tackles in both pass block win rate at 94% and run block win rate at 80%. His ability to protect the quarterback and support the running game has been instrumental in the Eagles' success over his 12-year career. Notably, he anchored a formidable group in 2024 that helped running back Saquon Barkley set a new record for most rushing yards in a single combined regular season and postseason.
Drafted fourth overall in 2013, Johnson has been a cornerstone of the Eagles' offensive line.
