In October 2024, the New York Knicks roster boasted four players who had played together with the Villanova Wildcats: Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and Donte DiVincenzo. The trade for Karl-Anthony Towns, however, led to DiVincenzo's departure to Minnesota, marking a significant change for the team.
