Pakistan triumphed over South Africa by six wickets in a thrilling one-day international (ODI) match held in Karachi. The hosts successfully chased down a formidable target of 352 runs, completing the pursuit with an impressive score of 355-4 in 49 overs. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha played pivotal roles, orchestrating a record-breaking fourth-wicket partnership that steered Pakistan to victory.

South Africa batted first and set a daunting total of 352-5 in their allotted 50 overs. Heinrich Klaasen was the top scorer for the visitors, smashing 87 runs off 56 deliveries. Temba Bavuma and Matthew Breetzke also contributed significantly with scores of 82 and 83, respectively. Despite the efforts of the South African batsmen, Pakistan's bowler Shaheen Afridi managed to claim 2-66, curbing the run flow at crucial moments.

In response, Pakistan's innings was anchored by a remarkable partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha. Rizwan remained unbeaten on 122 off 128 balls, marking his fourth century in ODIs. His partner, Agha, dazzled with his maiden century, scoring a remarkable 134 off 103 balls. Together, they shared a record fourth-wicket stand of 260 runs, surpassing Pakistan's previous highest chase of 349-4 against Australia in 2022.
