Celebrating 75 Years: LPGA Tour’s 2025 Season Tees Off with Exciting Lineup

The LPGA Tour is set to embark on a landmark 75th anniversary season in 2025, promising an exciting year of competition and celebration. The LPGA will kick off this historic season at the Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club in Tampa, Florida, where the first LPGA tournament took place. This year, fans can look forward to thrilling performances from seasoned champions and emerging talents alike.

Notably, Lydia Ko aims to defend her title at her home course, marking her ambition to secure consecutive victories. Ko's impressive track record includes three top-three finishes at the Augusta National Women's Amateur, underscoring her prowess in the sport. Reflecting on her esteemed career, Ko shared her thoughts on receiving honors beyond her wildest dreams.

Ingrid Lindblad enters the season with an impressive amateur history. She boasts a record 15 victories at LSU and held the No. 1 amateur ranking for 53 weeks. Meanwhile, Adela Cernousek made headlines by becoming Texas A&M's first NCAA individual national champion as a junior in 2024.

Nelly Korda seeks to build on her success from last season, where she claimed victories at the Dow Championship and CME Group Tour Championship, earning a substantial $4 million winner's check. Korda approaches each competition with a fresh perspective.

Rose Zhang demonstrated consistency with five top-10 finishes and 16 cuts made in 21 starts in 2024. Hannah Green emerged victorious in four tournaments over the past two seasons, with three wins in 2024 alone.
