When asked about the possibility, he stated:
"I'm not going to make any comments this week."
His decision to refrain from commenting stems from a desire to respect both Luke Donald, the European Ryder Cup captain, and Justin Rose, as well as the significance of the upcoming tournament. McKibbin's focus remains firmly on his current commitments, as he aims to perform well for his team.
