The event is scheduled to take place from July 17-20, bringing together the world's elite golfers once again to compete on these historic links.
The 2027 Open Championship will mark a significant milestone, commemorating 100 years since Bobby Jones claimed victory at St Andrews. In 1927, Jones secured his triumph with a commanding six-shot lead, cementing his legacy in golf history. Notably, Jones also achieved success at Royal Lytham & St Annes, further establishing his prowess on the course. The upcoming tournament will be the first held at St Andrews since Australian Cameron Smith seized his major title there in 2022.
